you must go to console/terminal of your server:
First lets see whats in that folder: ls /etc/awstats
Post the output of that folder here and we will work from there.

hello, when you make a module ready for awstats in cpanel, we just install it, and then it is ready for use with all the modules installed, please consider this is important for us all, you have nothing for this, it would be a plus to this panel.

https://panel.bullten.net/index.php?rp=/knowledgebase/71/Adding-and-integrating-Awstats-in-CWP--Centos-6or7.html

is just for apache, but i use nginx!!
thanks.

Do you want me to setup Apache to write 'combined' log files [y/N] ? --> y
Do you want me to build a new AWStats config/profile file (required if first install) [y/N] --> y

is it for a single user only
if so, how can we add each user individually?

I think it doesn't work with php-fpm. just php-cgi.
Is there any future work with php-fpm?

I'll give you my recommendation: Webalizer. I switched to it years ago and never looked back. AWStats was klunky by comparison. Webalizer is fast and detailed and strikes a good balance of info (very high, intuitive) vs. performance cost (very low).
