CWP to CWP migration problem
« on: September 07, 2019, 06:18:57 AM »
I migrated some accounts between two CWPs and for some of these at the end of the operation the files and the database were not copied, the account was just created; on the origin server the accounts are all reported as "migrated", can the operation be repeated? how do I reset the migration status to repeat it?
The destination server is identical but has Varnish + Nginx installed while the source server only has Nginx, could this difference have caused the problem?

you re-migrate using the same process. However, you need to choose only accounts that have the issue so there is no overwrite

I know this topic is not been for long..

I have found the same issue migrating my servers...

The only way I found to resolve it was to do account migration one by one...

You cannot opt for multiple account migration at once..

At least in my case

I have a problem too, but this case in with DB.

only move files and config but no Databases.

Y try from 2 modules 1. transcwp2 and 2. cwp_to_cwp.

in transtersts generates 3 files in Home directory.
user_grants.sql
dumpsql.sql
passswd.json

the sql Dump have this
Code: [Select]
mysqldump: unknown variable 'defaults-extra-file=/root/.my.cnf'
CWPpro version: 0.9.8.944

Some bugs? Would you say that a missing wheel on your car is a "bug"?

Forum must allow photo attachments if you expect people to submit screen capture.  Asking for photo feature is not a big ASK.

Why would I use 3rd party when I could use my own website.  Totally stupid solution. :-[

Please consider those at next updates  :

# option when restore account or migration from CWP or cpanel :  override current account if the account exist so can restore new backup or something .

# option change domain of the account . Like that at cpanel it is very easy to change the domain from user function .

All the best
