CentOS 8 Support - When or Never???

CentOS 7 stops Full updates Q4 2020, which starts next month.

cPanel and Plesk both are supporting CentOS 8 now since all required packages are available.
Even ISPConfig 3.2 is going to have CentOS 8 support.

When is CWP going to follow suit, and support CentOS 8?
Or is CWP development dead?

My guess, as CWP has been several years to take it this far.. and it just under 100version" to reach Vers.1.0xxx.
current uptodate version of CWP is: Vers: 0.9.8.1000,  (why they use "1000", and not update to 0.9.9.0, i dont knwo

centos 8 will be available soon, it's currently under detailed testing for possible issues.

I brought up a test server, and followed some of the directions out there to upgrade from CentOS 7 to 8, and it failed. Miserably...

Hopefully they will have it released before the end of the year.

Also have CWPpro version: 0.9.8.1008 running on CentOS 8 with Kernel 5.8.10 and MariaDB 10.5.5

Only issues is GoAccess doesn't work, and the PHP Switched doesn't still have 7.3.22 listed to update.

Slave DNS Manager is running on one of these servers.

As long as you don't need the website stats from Go Access.
Also for some reason with the same CWP Version, 7.3.22 doesn't show as an option like it does on CentOS 7.
Which is weird, same CWP version.

But we migrated already, only thing that had a problem was the mailboxes didn't recreate using the CWP to CWP Migrate.

That was one of the guides I tried and it didn't work for me.

I would not recommend you upgrade 7=>8. The best way to reinstall OS.
