Title: Change main domain
Post by: moginn on August 11, 2015, 05:38:21 PM
After creating a new user account with the centos panel, the main domain seems not to be possible to change. Am I right? Is there a way to change the main domain associated with an user?

That can be done but there are many places you need to edit it.

Thanks for your answer. Can you provide me with a list of all places that I need to edit in order to change the main domain?

at the moment this option isn't available, you can backup all your files/databases then delete account, create a new account and restore files and databases from backup.

other option would be to add new domain as addon and in that way you don't need to delete or change anything.

A working solution will be useful, maybe in the future releases...

This isnt a very big deal.  I have done it in a very short amount of time.

Difficulty level: 3
Time required: 30 minutes max

I changed my vhost file to reflect what I wanted.  Then I changed the host name in panel.
