Some Information
« on: March 29, 2019, 10:45:01 PM »
I am wondering if CWP is for me? I am currently using cPanel / WHM on my CentOS 7 dedicated server, unfortunately, cPanel does not allow you to downgrade MYSQL from 5.7 to 5.6, I wish to know if CWP allows for this?  as a newbie here at this website, I also wish to ask a few questions?

1,  How to install CWP to use with my dedicated server?
2,  which option for purchasing is better ( BUSINESS CWP or ENTERPRISE CWP?? ) the fact is I wish to have one of this professional installed.
3,  What is (Secure Kernel Level)??

Thank You.

Anyone with any answers or links for me??  this does not look like your support network is forthcoming, everything looks ok apart from a few spammers, but support does not look good if I were to purchase your product.

CWP uses MariaDB, not exaclty MySQL.
But nothing stops you to downgrade your MariaDB version with CWP.
Just dump your dbs before, and reimport when downgraded.

Really appreciate your reply *Netino* so I guest when I purchase CWP & opt for the professional installation I could request they remove *MariaDB* and my request for MYSQL 5.6 to replace.

Correct. If you pay to support, they will be able to get it done for you.
