I was wondering if anyone knew of any updates for the ability to use 2FA for the main admin login panel. I have seen a couple of old posts suggesting using free DNS and putting the host name into configuration files, which I am not comfortable with. Does anyone know if 2FA, such as Google Authenticator or text message authentication, and a module for shape performance can be installed independently? I really want to secure my system, but I do not want to use free DNS for dynamic IP addresses. My server is hosted with its own IP address in the data center. I simply want to lock it down completely using the Google Authenticator app or, as I mentioned before, one-time text SMS for authentication.

Block all the ports in CSF except the ones you want the public to have access to.

Then place your IP into the whitelist.

You can also use Cloudflare to Proxy incoming web requests.
