I have been using CWP pro at home for a number of years. I recently retired and want to maintain my brain cells a bit longer so I want to do more with my home server than just host a few wordpress sites.
At the moment this configuration fits my needs - need advice on if it will work and any likely problems. I don't really want to move to TrueNas to do this;
At the moment I'm thinking ALmaLinux 9.4 + CWP + Next Cloud + Jellyfin
Ideally (in order of preference) I want to celibately edit & sort photos, Download old TV & Video to stream in the house, host wordpress and anything else is a bonus.
Hardware is just an old i7 HP Envy tower with decent GPU & Ram, 2 matched HD, 2 SSDs

I'm sure that would work for your needs. Make sure the in-house infrastructure is Gigabit or as close as possible with wifi. Skip the spinning rust (HDs) and go for all SSDs, unless you are talking mega-TB of storage (fine for archival media/video) -- just make sure to keep an offline copy as well.

Well we'll soon see, I'm install Alma as I type. I'm not looking for perfect and I'll be using what I have without buying more "stuff".
I'll be using 4 drives, 2 ssd & 2 hard drives.
I've been looking for a tutorial on the best way to set these up if any knows? Naturally I'm booting from the one SSD because it's only 125gb and the other is only 500gb so I was think this as a cheque drive? but that where my knowledge ends. Any backup will be added later as the data has multi copies anyway.
