I having a crazy problem, I had to reinstall my VPS server to Centos 9, has server does not have the os of centos 7 anymore
I have always been able to reinstall the server and CWP without any issues and able to login to CWP admin as root and my root password, but this time no matter what I try I cannot login to CWP admin and it changes the port from the login from 2030 to 2031 in the http login address.
tried changing the admin password and done 3 more reinstalls of VPS and CWP but it will not accept my admin login.
Is there anyone that can point me in the right direction, as I have been using this VPS and CWP for the last 5 years without any issues

Please use alma linux 8
-
Clean cache (cookies, temporary files, sessions) of your browser and then try to access CWP admin panel again.
In case you decide to reinstall the panel, then make sure there are no errors during installation.

There is no longer CentOS, RH killed it.
It just their beta version OS called CentOS Stream.
The recommended version like Jose mentioned is AlmaLinux 8.x
But AlmaLinux 9.x is working well also, even thought CWP is in beta on that OS.

Thank you for that, I can now login..
I have done the required settings e.t.c. monet, email, changes ssh port and stuff, but now i cannot activate the firewall keep showing [root@server ~]# csf -e
I have run this in ssh connection but still no joy in activating firewall.

I am Getting
[root@******* ~]# csf -e
*Error* The path to iptables is either not set or incorrect for IPTABLES [/sbin/ iptables] in /etc/csf/csf.conf at /usr/local/csf/lib/ConfigServer/URLGet.pm line 26.
Compilation failed in require at /usr/sbin/csf line 21.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/sbin/csf line 21.
[root@******* ~]# chkconfig --list

Install AlmaLinux 8, as suggested above and that should take care of the problems.
Unless you want to deal with a beta OS for testing purposes that will give weird errors.

I have done a complete reinstall of my VPS with AlmaLinux 8, and still I am unable to enable the firewall.
I used the installer for ----
Installer for CentOS 8/stream, Alma Linux, and Rocky Linux (recommended)
any more ideas of what is causing the issue.
I ran the csf -e as this is what has appeared, and this resulted with the error--
*Error* The path to iptables is either not set or incorrect for IPTABLES [/sbin/iptables] in /etc/csf/csf.conf at /usr/local/csf/lib/ConfigServer/URLGet.pm line 26.
Compilation failed in require at /usr/sbin/csf line 21.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/sbin/csf line 21.
[root@******** ~]#
Getting a little frustrated now, as in the last 5 years of installing CWP I had never had this issue..
