ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib

Installed fresh centos on a virtual mashine, updated, started to install cwp, after some time i get

ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)
MySQL root password is invalid!!!
Check password and run this script again.

How to fix it?
The password is Blank or what???

reset the mysql password
through ssh you can do it by this commands :

cd /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/resources/scripts
sh mysql_pwd_reset
