CentOS Web Panel Configuration setting
« on: January 08, 2015, 10:30:42 AM »
Hello

need some help im very new for cwp

im install it successfully.

now i want to  CentOS Web Panel Configuration

im little confuse at this point.

my default ip is Example: 199.100.54.00

question1: Setup nameservers
in my default domain (control penal) - im just edit my server ip address.
Host     Points
 @       199.100.54.00
it will work or i must have to make change/create nameservers ?
if yes... then as default is show like this. what should i have to add in ip and in ns1.ns2 (main domain: Example: prosongs.com)
NS1 SubDomain: ns1.centos-webpanel.com          NS1 IP: 127.0.0.1
NS2 SubDomain: ns2.centos-webpanel.com          NS2 IP: 127.0.0.1
Should i add like this ?
NS1 SubDomain: ns1.centos-webpanel.com          NS1 IP: 199.100.54.00
NS2 SubDomain: ns2.centos-webpanel.com          NS2 IP: 199.100.54.00 ?
==================
Quetion2:  Setup shared ip (must be your public IP address)
from where i can get shared ip .. my vps server send me only 1 server ip. 199.100.54.00
should i add this ip in shared ip option ?
127.0.0.1 to 199.100.54.00 ?
==================
Question3: multi domain adding.
my default domain is Example: prosongs.com
for this domain i make account example: admin
now i have other 4 domains. which i want to add them.
for 4 domain i must have to add 4 user name ?
or we can use same username ? and add other 4 domains?
if yes .. then how to config it?
how will be path for other domain.
Example: for prosongs.com path
/home/admin/public_html
what about other if i use same user name ?

thank you

let me try to answer that.

Q1 and Q2
YES. you must change the default Ip address to your VPS ip adress. so change 127.1.1.1 to your IP

Q3
YOu must add another 4 account for 4 domain. since cwp still dont have "add on domain" in their webpanel.  you must create user from your admin panel. You cant use the same username.

Ihope this can help

by adding addon domain from CWP.admin as root you can point addon domain to any location or make it to use the same path like your main domain of the account.

For testing your nameserver records in real time you can use the following website.
