Installation questions
« on: January 27, 2021, 01:45:40 PM »
I installed CWP on CentOS 7 following the tutorial on the website: https://control-webpanel.com/installation-instructions

Installation completed and almost everything is working, but a doubt appeared, I put that the VPS where I installed the CWP pointed to my domain: http://zkservidores.com/

It worked, I go to the link to show a simple HTML page that I did just for testing.

However, if I enter the site via the VPS IP, it shows a standard CWP page: http://31.220.52.44/

My question would be, shouldn't the IP as well as the domain show the same page?

About root access, shouldn't you also create a personal folder with the name root, something like that?

Currently there is only the user that I created and put a domain in, and nothing else, shouldn't there be a folder when installing CWP with the name root/admin of the root user in this case?

This isn't clear! You used your domain not a host name during install?

No, come on... My VPS has its own host name, in the case vps1.zkservidores.com

So far so good, domain I have the part to use as my hosting.

But now I understood where my mistake was, I was able to resolve it.

This ain't looking good.  ::)

Now about your subscription, I can only say that if a "person / photographer" buys a camera he may well practice in order to learn more and always improve.

Same thing a VPS / Dedicated and etc, after all this is a forum to help everyone, and from what I see, about the CWP, now it helps anyone who wants, who doesn't want to ignore and go on with life. Now question of what you find cheaper may not be the same opinion of another user.

In any case, thank you for your help.

If you stuck with your mantra, then you'd say what the mistake was, in order to help others.  :P

I know some will find that my attitude stinks, whereas people who explain properly and are willing to make some effort, will get as much help as I can give. All at no charge.  ;)

If it was a pointing error, I made the correction and waited a while and normalized.
