« on: March 09, 2017, 05:21:44 PM »
Hello ,

i've installed CWP on my VPs  , everything is going good , but i keep having Issues with my DNS management and Bind is not starting ,
i have the follwing issue :

Checking DNS Zone Record for Domain: mxxxx.online
Checking Zone File: /var/named/mxxxx.online.db

zone mxxxx.online/IN: NS 'ns1.mxxxx.online' has no address records (A or AAAA)
zone mxxxx.online/IN: NS 'ns2.mxxxx.online' has no address records (A or AAAA)
zone mxxxx.online/IN: not loaded due to errors.

below are my settings :

Zone file for mxxxx.online

mxxxxx.online.        86400       IN     NS          ns1.xxxxx.online.
mxxxxx.online.        86400       IN     NS          ns2.xxxxx.online.
mxxxxx.online.       0    IN    A       xx.xxx.xx.xx
localhost.mxxxxx.online. 0    IN    A       127.0.0.1
mxxxxx.online.       0    IN    MX    5    mxxxxx.online.
Mail             0     IN    CNAME    mxxxxx.online.
Www             0     IN     CNAME   mxxxx.online.
Ftp                     0     IN     CNAME     mxxxx.online.

i have set up 2 zones for my nameservers in wich they point to the right ip's

i can't figure out where i'm going wrong

anyone able to help me,

thx

Hi,

just add to the zone file:

Code: [Select]
ns1.mxxxxx.online.       0    IN    A       xx.xxx.xx.xx
ns2.mxxxxx.online.       0    IN    A       xx.xxx.xx.xx
You can ask me to solve any problem with your server for some money in pm  ;)
