So here we are in June 2024 just days away from EOL centos 7. And the CWP installation has this to say:
Please note that currently we still recommend CentOS 7 as the best version to get installed as it also provides our CWP Secure Kernel which is very important for server security and especially for shared web hosting servers.

Yes, that info has been out-of-date for at least a year, if not 2 years now...

Problem is they have 2 websites, centos-webpanel.com is outdated with that information.
Doesn't help they mention that CentOS 7 MINIMAL is recommended, which only means to use that and not the Network or DVD versions.
But the New control-webpanel.com has AlmaLinux 8 as the recommended version.

That was quoted from the new website my friend, not the old website.

Don't know what website you are looking at, because at https://control-webpanel.com/installation-instructions#step4
It clearly states "Installer for CentOS 8/stream, Alma Linux, and Rocky Linux (recommended)"
Nothing about CentOS 7 being recommended.

You tried posting this BS in another thread.
Your posts are negative about CWP.
If you don't like it, go find another control panel.

You have misunderstood the grammar syntax. It says out of the three distros Rocky Linux is recommended. But overall, it says centos 7 minimal in system requirements (step 2) recommended.
