Problem for installing at Digitalocean and Vultr.
« on: May 06, 2015, 01:21:33 PM »
Hi, I was trying to install CWP at Digitalocean and Vultr, but both was failed.

it says: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using server.myweb.com for ServerName.

I was using centos 6.5 both.

And I testing on vmbox VPS using centos 6.4 and everthing is alright.

Any suggestion will be appriciated.

It says after installing on Digital Ocean  :
Complete!
Stopping httpd:                                            [FAILED]
Starting httpd: httpd: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using hostname.myweb.com for ServerName
                                                           [  OK  ]
cwpsrvd: unrecognized service

Trying to rebuild Apache from CWP.admin, but still failed.

[root@hostname ~]# service httpd restart
Stopping httpd:                                            [  OK  ]
Starting httpd: httpd: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using hostname.myweb.com for ServerName
                                                           [  OK  ]

Starting httpd: httpd: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using hostname.ydhelicopter.com for ServerName

The above error is causing issue to start apache? seriously?

I am not getting what actually is not working. Your apache is not working or you cannot login to cwp or something else?

Hi, I can log in CWP. But when I restart Apache. I got this error:
[root@hostname ~]# service httpd restart
Stopping httpd:                                            [  OK  ]
Starting httpd: httpd: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using hostname.ydhelicopter.com for ServerName
                                                           [  OK  ]

Here below are the step I installed CWP:

yum -y install wget
cd /usr/local/src
wget http://centos-webpanel.com/cwp-latest
sh cwp-latest

The above error wont cause your apache to stop. Apache must be running fine.

Are you trying to use a sub domain ? you would need to add it under your control panel dns settings first so I have a sub domain system http://prntscr.com/72vfgp

if the sub domain has not been added the it will not be a valid domain

I just installed a fresh copy and it works fine
