Help - Freshly Installed CWP on Azure VM (always CWP.client)
« on: November 28, 2016, 08:10:37 PM »
Hi! So I'm basically running an Azure VM with CentOS 6.8. I installed CWP and followed the instructions to the letter, and it seemed like everything was hunky dory.

Azure Portal wise, I made sure that my IP addresses (public and private) were set to Static, I added inbound rules to allow HTTP, HTTPS and the CWP port (2030), and I also created both a valid SSH key (which I used via Putty to install CWP), and a password for the 'root' user (although the username was set to something else, like 'developer').

However, when I finally signed into CWP, I used the Azure root user (developer) and the Azure root password. It logs in, but I'm ALWAYS on the CWP.client dashboard. Never on .admin

Can anyone help me out? Did I do something wrong?

If I can just get past that, I'll then try my hand and configuring the domains (not sure how to do this, since Azure Portal also has it's own DNS), and then hopefully set up my website/s.
