Upgrade to CWPPro
« on: December 18, 2017, 07:19:05 PM »
I am concerned about the "within 24 hours" time frame to upgrade to CWPpro.  When you install Softaculous and purchase a license, there is a link in the Softaculous control panel to manually fetch the license.

Is there similar functionality in CWPpro?  It would be nice to be able to initiate the upgrade to pro when I'm ready instead of waiting for some mysterious event I'm not confident is even going to occur.

I know this is a few weeks old now an the OP will have decided to 'take the plunge' or not by now, but in case it helps anyone else - once you've purchased the licence (make sure you enter the correct IP address when you order), open a PuTTY console to your server and enter:

/bin/bash /scripts/update_cwp

I found that it updated to CWPPro straight away.

FIX
the way i fixed this was adding 37.187.72.216 to the allowed firewall.
and doing a quick reset of the firewall allowed me to get access.
Pro is now activated
