I have CWP up and running with a few sites initialized and working, and wish to purchase a license for Pro. I'd like to ask for a sanity check about which IP I should provide during the purchase, because of the apparently internal routing at our end.
- I log into CWP at one IP, which I can do this way: https://23.x.x.149:2031
- I pointed the DNS (A record) for the initial sites to 23.x.x.149 and they work properly
- Here's the catch... in CWP "Terminal" asking for "what is my ip" I get:
user@23.x.x.149 ~$ curl -s https://checkip.amazonaws.com
23.x.x.145
(Note that 23.x.x.145 is returned, and also that I am unable to reach CWP at the 23.x.x.145 IP)
I have the same question for Shared IP in the CWP Settings... which one to use?
Tips appreciated!

Do you have multiple IPs assigned?

We have an IP range in use but I've been setting up everything with the .149 address, and it seems to be working.
I guess my question is which IP address should I use to purchase Pro ... the one I set it up at, or the one it reports as??

You main base IPv4 is what is used.
You will see it listed at the bottom on the control panel as well.

Thanks for the replies. If I may, a related question about licensing...
We had previously bought one year of the $11.99 licensing, but will be going with a different IP. We're not trying to get a refund but wonder what happens after the year? Does the license just expire? What we don't want is auto-renewal for the IP we aren't going to use. It doesn't seem that we can log into the actual CWP site (as opposed to this forum), so it doesn't seem we have a way to turn off an Auto-Renewal option.

You can change the IP allocated to the license. So just reuse it.
