CWP Databases on AWS RDS
« on: September 18, 2020, 04:05:49 PM »
Hello! Noob here.  :D

I am currently running a CWP installation on a single AWS EC2 instance. Works great.

However, I was thinking to separate all databases in CWP (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) from that EC2 instance and place them in an AWS RDS instance for better performance and fault-tolerance.

Is there a way ALL the databases on CWP (existing or future) can be configured to automatically launch on the AWS RDS instance instead of localhost?

Is that something that can be achieved by changing some setting inside CWP itself?

Any assistance will be highly appreciated.

CWP uses OS settings for SQL servers connection. So, you have to configure your OS default settings and it should workfine.
You can ask me to solve any problem with your server for some money in pm  ;)
