What does epoll_wait() failed (22: Invalid argument) mean?

Overnight, or in just a few minutes, the /var/log/nginx/error.log file grew to 26 GB due to an error:

2022/01/24 00:33:26 [alert] 7949#7949: epoll_wait() failed (22: Invalid argument).

I had to reinstall the server, because. all the disk space was taken up and problems started with MSQL, in particular with cwp_root.
Errors appeared suddenly. The last changes on the server were made a few days before the errors.

Can someone explain what this error means, what caused it and what needs to be done to prevent a similar situation? I recently started administering the server, so I have very little experience.

hi you need to check the logs for the errors and this type of behavior doesn't exists in healthy server and apps.
