Is there a recommended way of manually installing this version? Or a better web panel to use? I am trying to install some web software that requires ionCube 13.3+. The plan is to setup and deploy several of these, worth the hassle of sticking with CWP panels?

Download an extract the new 13.3.1 ionCube loaders. Current version as of 2024-09-11

If you are using Bitvise for your SSH, then you can us ethe built-in SFTP, the button on the left is labeled 'New SFTP Window"

For Local Path, select your directory where you extracted the new loaders.

For the Remote Path, enter:
Code: [Select]
/usr/local/ioncube
Then just copy over, and overwrite the loaders.

After this has completed, you will nee dto reboot the server, or it will lock up.

When it reboots, run:
Code: [Select]
php -v
You will see your PHP version, and the new version of ionCube loaders.

Hi,

Many thanks to Starburst for this post...

His last post on the subject:

https://starburst.help/control-web-panel-cwp/control-web-panel-cwp-admin-tutorials/ioncube-error-after-building-php-8-3-with-cwp-on-almalinux-8-9/

Please help - if I have compiled PHP 8.3.17 via PHP Version Switcher and have followed all Starburst instructions (for which I thank him again very much), and I have a working version of PHP 8.3.17, then when compiling PHP 8.3.17 with PHP Selector and PHP-FPM Selector - do I need to do anything else?

Thanks in advance!

BR
