cant send emails from postfix

Hi there,

I cannot send any emails with postfix i get a error '450 4.7.1 Client host rejected: cannot find your hostname'

Can anyone help on this issue please?

you have rebuilded postfix with reject unknown hostname, as stated in postfix rebuilder you need to be certain that you need this option before enabling it, so are you certain that you need it if its blocking you ?

I face the same issue, i fixed this issue by following steps.

1. You must have valid DNS  records that resolved to your Server/VPS IP and must be properly setup to your HOSTNAME. Otherwise the REBUILD POSTFIX option under email postfix > Postfix Manager > Rebuild Mail server won't fix and generate proper configuration for postfix.

2. Hostname means your VPS/Server Computer name. like SERVER1.YOURDOMAIN.COM.

3. IP address must resolve to hostname. like 1.1.1.1 pointed to  SERVER1.YOURDOMAIN.COM

4. you must have rDNS entry. rDNS mean (Reverse DNS record). this will help your email reputed to hotmail/gmail/yahoomail. because if you don' have rDNS. hotmail will automatically reject your emails. gmail will get in SPAM and yahoo Blocked you.

Hi all,

i have been using cloudfare for my dns records and leafdns shows valid on my every mx recoreds.
But the problem is i cant send emails to external links i.e test@outlook.com or test@google.com,it shows sent sucessfully but the message is never delivered whereas i can recieve emails in my domain ...PS i have stopped bind from cwp and i dont have my own dns server..
