No SSL / alma

Hi,

in relation to https://forum.centos-webpanel.com/problems-on-other-redhat-linux-servers/almalinux-base-server-and-i-m-trying-to-ssl-for-domain-but-it -give-error/msg49114/?topicseen#msg49114

1. Separately, after some time, the CWP returns to my e-mail a message for each attempt to install a certificate that it has failed...
2. Separately in the Anacron job 'cron.daily' ... message I have the following lines:
"Errors during downloading metadata for repository 'baseos':
- Curl error (60): Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with given CA certificates for https://mirrors.almalinux.org/mirrorlist/8/baseos [SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate]
Error: Failed to download metadata for repo 'baseos': Cannot prepare internal mirrorlist: Curl error (60): Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with given CA certificates for https://mirrors.almalinux.org/mirrorlist/8/baseos [SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate]"

3. I downgraded the PHP version, now the install button fires but cuts out quickly, and still nothing is done, again no certificate has been installed...

This is probably linked to the post you made about your webservers having a problem.

If they aren't configured correctly, then SSL won't work.

SSL does not work at all...

Check your rDNS.

If that isn't set correctly Let's Encrypt won't generate the SSL.
95% of the time that is the problem.

The other 5% is due to a mis-configured firewall.
