Mod_Security / ModSecurity Response body too large

good day all,
i have the following error after installing modsecurity.
when trying to acces the web page:
"500 Internal Server Error. The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request."
apache / modsecurity log:
"ModSecurity: Output filter: Response body too large (over limit of 524288, total not specified)."
i am unable to find where to adjust the limit for ResponseBody - anybody have a solution?
