CentOS-WebPanel GUI / Security risk: Client File Manager reveals all clients on server.
« on: May 20, 2018, 10:31:28 PM »
When a user opens the File Manager it starts in the following path:
/usr/local/cwpsrv/var/services/users/{user}
instead of
/home/{user}
and thus showing all the usernames on the server. This started happening after the last update, I did a clean install on a test server and the problem persists.

CentOS-WebPanel GUI / Re: Logon as user

Actually it does:
"It’s simple. Log out from the admin panel and at login box enter the users “username” and you can use the root password"
But it does not work as explained above.

So there is no way to do this? How can I then support my users if I can't log in? Or must I ask them for their credentials every time?
why does the website say it is possible?
