SSL / Buy own certificate for my hostname and email SSL/TLS point to server - how ?
« on: January 07, 2019, 10:11:33 AM »
Hey
I would like to buy a certificate for the main domain - the name of the server and use it to IMAP/POP3/SMTP mail. Let'sEncrypt installed for each domain, but the mail can not be properly configured for SSL ports 993/465, each time it reports an error. Configuring e-mail on iMac is almost impossible, even disabling encryption for outgoing and incoming e-mails is hard to set up.
Is there any current tutorial? Can anyone help you? Alternatively, can you use TLS on the basis of a purchased certificate?
I was looking for and tried to use the information in this thread (http://forum.centos-webpanel.com/ssl/how-to-install-multiple-ssl-certificates-on-shared-ip/), but it seems to me that it's out of date ...
Thank you in advance for your help.
greetings
