Installation / Re: CentOS Stream Support

This is a REALLY big deal. I've been reading up on this since last night. Here are the big highlights that everyone needs to understand.

• CentOS is essentially becoming beta software. It will no longer carry the reliability and stability it has in past years.
• CentOS 7 will be supported until 2024.
• CentOS 8 will be only supported until Dec 2021 (yes, not a typo)

Sounds like the current CentOS community will be jumping ship to Debian, Ubuntu or FreeBSD. There is a possible CentOS fork in the future, also.

I'll be unfortunately leaving CWP Pro with this CentOS announcement and shiting towards Debian and ISPManager. It's a shame because I really liked CWP Pro.

I know this is an old topic...but I struggled with this quite a bit today and I finally figured out my unique problem. The password I was using started with a % and for some reason it would not let me connect to MySQL with it. Once I changed the first character to a letter or number, it worked.

I'm not sure if the password was never properly created with the % in the MySQL setup area, or if CWP just doesn't handle MySQL passwords with % at the beginning. Might be a bug somewhere in CWP. I use CentOS 7.
