nop, only new hackers with AI are now attacking...but we solve them.
ok so its way worse... i get it. ill let you work, just keep in mind to drop some changelogs so we are aware of changes because some of them are messing with our works, i have to nullified your script to keep my servers working.
Also it would be good if you let us know if they are accesing trough 2087, 2083 or just simple ssh or how so we can firewall the entire server.

It appears that CWP has rolled out numerous updates—both minor and major—over the past few weeks, suggesting renewed interest in the control panel.

Dude, have you see whats inside the script?
Even it has a finger print of the attacker, they are blocking domains via hosts where the ex Dev Team member taht went rogue was using. And the cleanup of constantly deleting /root/.ssh is the only proof we need. Adev Team member went rogue.

Ok, after analizing the temp_hacker_check we discover this script is trying to prevent SOMEONE to get into the servers using cwpro.
It seems a Dev Team person went Rogue and this script is preventing and erasing posible ssh keys, db access and all that kind of stuff that a hacker will use to get into the servers using this soft.
So there is a person hacking all the CWPRO servers using a Gsocket Backdoor and the hacker key begins with IPCsi58x.... and using mysql users also, there is a bug operator=/root erasing all keys.
This is hapenning in ALL the servers using this panel. and you can see if you look closely there is in your hosts a 127.0.0.1 gsocket.io and cloudsyndication.org. Blocks by this scripts to keep hackers outside.
So i will love and explanation from someone from cwpro, to come clean about this... We love this panel and we dont gonna change, but we can help you.

That is odd.
All of our servers are still intact with all the user and system accounts.
But seeing this thread did make my heart skip a beat.
I am curious, what OS are you guys that lost users running?

All the servers had users with @% cause i need to, everything went to shit.

Does anyone knows a workaround till it is a patch?
I didnt find stored password on mysql, is there a sqlite somewhere?
Also can someone explain to me why monthly backups are 1 - 7 - 14 and 28? where is 21? it should be 1 - 8 - 16 - 24 or just do weekly with 4 retention and monthly 1st with x retention. Claude can help you. wink wink.

CentOS 7 Problems / Re: PHP version Switcher not working

Im having the Exact Same Issue trying to change from PHP 5.6.37 default installed with CWP to 7.4.8 and the error im having is this:
This are the last lines of tail -f /var/log/php-rebuild.log
Im just installed Centos 7, and i have more than 200gb free.
I just go to PHP Version Switcher v2
You are running PHP version: 5.6.37
I choose any version, wait for half an hour.
And i Recive this notification:

But no php changes hapening, still in the same 5.6.37
