DNS / Format issue with dots
« on: October 09, 2024, 02:03:51 PM »
Seems when creating an MX, for example, Bind with CWP.
@ IN MX 5 mx.domain.com
It requires a dot
@ IN MX 5 mx.domain.com.
and CWP is not clear on that. We had to change tons of domains in batch. It would be nice if it alerted about the invalid syntax.
I believe same for CNAMEs, require an extra dot at the end of the value.
Thanks.

Information / Difficulty to get a quote
« on: October 04, 2024, 01:12:30 PM »
Friends,
Having a hard time to get a quote with CWP team.
I wrote to the sales email address and I got 2 replies after some tme with same question, if I had a managed plan, to which I said I dont.
I just wanted a quote of how much it would cost to add a link in the menu on the left side to our email administration which is external. Simply add a link in the menu on the left side in our 2 dedicated servers running CWP.
Can someone pls help?
Thanks!
Flavio

Suggestions / NGINX features
« on: October 01, 2024, 10:17:42 PM »
Friends,
It seems many features lack when using NGINX, such as native redirect.
Can you consider adding those features in panel when NGINX is used?
Thanks.

as far as temporary urls, CWP does not support mod_userdir urls while using NGINX, you would have to switch to using Apache only in order for it to work. I would recommend just developing a site using a subdomain instead as it has far less issues than using mod_userdir urls.

Information / About plans and domains
« on: September 17, 2024, 04:10:44 PM »
Pls confirm
CWP (Control Web Panel) does not provide an option to assign different packages to individual domains under a single user account. Packages in CWP are assigned at the user account level, meaning:
A single package is applied to the entire user account.
All domains associated with that user account will share the same package (including limits for disk space, bandwidth, etc.).
Correct?
Would be nice plans per domain, but we will adapt, no prob.
Thanks!

Information / Confused about listing domains
« on: September 17, 2024, 04:01:20 PM »
Friends,
We're a bit confused. Why not list all customer's domain in list domains. There it shows just "extra domains".
Where to see the main domain then? Only inside DNS editor?
Found that a bit strange.
Thanks.

Suggestions / usernames
« on: September 16, 2024, 04:07:04 PM »
Friends,
A bit of a pitty I cant choose a username of my liking. Id like to set username to login to panel = customer's email address.
Cpanel generates an 8 char based on domain, but its hard to know what the username is as it's part of the word of the domain.
Also there is no "forgot username".
Thanks!

Suggestions / Brazilian Portuguese x Portugal Portuguse
« on: September 11, 2024, 04:00:26 PM »
Friends,
Congrats on the great project!
I noticed the panel has what seems to be Brazilian Portuguese, however, the flag shown is that of Portugal.
Can you change it to the Brazilian flag?
Thanks!
Flávio
