DNS / First time user - it figures...
« on: July 27, 2017, 06:01:19 AM »
Hi
I just rented a VPS with a2hosting. The installation of Centos Web Panel went well. My problem is - now - to direct my domais (mainly at godaddy) to the VPS.
My question is - if I may:
In the DNS configuration in godaddy, the A record must point to my IP, righ?
Now for the nameservers... are they the ones of a2hosting (dns1.name-services.com and dns2.name-services.com) or must I create my own (like ns1.mysite.com and ns2.mysite.com)? And what about the Centos Web panel DNS zone? The NSs are defined as ns1.centos-webpanel.com and ns2.centos-webpanel.com
I really need some help here...please.
Kind regards,
Kepler
