Installation / problem with varnish + magento , not cache

hi , today i tried to install magento on my CWP  , my actual webserver is "Apache & Varnish Cache & Nginx Reverse Proxy", after install magento i start to install  extension  "Turpentine - Varnish Cache" http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/turpentine-varnish-cache.html

after this i tried to start to change some settings but when try to save show some error  example like this

Error determining Varnish version: Got unexpected response code from Varnish: 107 evpebepcnhoisahtbxjhfhptniaskypq Authentication required.
Failed to apply the VCL to 127.0.0.1:6082: Failed to load configurator

i tried varius setting but never solve my problem

- i tried to insert  a Varnish Authentication Key
- i tried to insert full pach of file /etc/varnish/default.vcl
- tried various port

but never show same message and also varnish not work , in header show the age = 0 any other idea for solve this ?

CentOS 6 Problems / PHP Version Switcher not function

hi, today have decided to downgrade the php version from 5.4.27 to 5.2.17 , but after click "start compiler in background " not update never , and if try to view the log  "tail -f /var/log/php-rebuild.log" compare this message

# tail -f /var/log/php-rebuild.log
tail: cannot open `/var/log/php-rebuild.log' for reading: No such file or directory
tail: no files remaining
 i have check but this file not exist.

after wait more time not downgrade the php version( remain the default version).

 I installed varnish a few hours before, but everything works fine


how solve ??
