Updates / Update from 0.7

Hi!
I'm a new (but not so new) user and few months ago I installed the 0.7 version of CWP.
The software is great but I was expecting a notification about the new versions instead nothing.
Now if it is clear, I cannot update CWP anymore because there are too differences between the 0.7 and the latest version (0.9.1)
So... Starting from zero... What do you suggest I need to backup (MYSQL, PUBLIC_HTML(s), configurations and other files) before uninstall and reinstall the newest version?
I cannot find a guide about this operation that is very important and diffused I suppose.
