Information / How to restrict CWP User Panel based on IP address
« on: July 15, 2020, 06:51:01 PM »
Hello,
I managed to restrict access to the CWP Admin Panel based on IP by adding my IP address to
/usr/local/cwp/.conf/.access_root
But the CWP User Panel is still open to all IP addresses.
How can I restrict this one to my IP address, too?
Thanks

How to / ROOT user in CWP7
« on: June 26, 2020, 04:22:51 PM »
Hello,
I have some questions below:
By default on the port 2087, the user is Root, even though Root user has been deactivated in ssh before. Then:
1. Is it possible to change Root username in CWP? (I don't mean another users that are accessible via port 2083, I just mean the main user of the port 2087)
2. If not, is it possible to disable it?
3. Is it possible to change the login url for the ports 2087 and 2083?
4. If none of these are possible, aren't these be considered as security vulnerables?
Thanks

CentOS 7 Problems / MySQL Manager NOT working
« on: June 14, 2020, 03:17:35 PM »
Hello,
I'm newbie and my knowledge about managing a server is very low.
I have installed CW7 some while ago and everything was okay. But now I got a problem with MySQL Manager and the list of database and users are not shown. I'm not sure but probably because I updated centos (yum update), however still database work
I found the below article with this regard, which is exactly about my problem:
https://wiki.centos-webpanel.com/mysql-manager-not-working
When I try mysql --version , I get an error message:
unknown variable 'max_user_connections=45'
How can I fix this problem?
If it is possible, guide me in simple language and step by step, as my knowledge in very low in this field.
Thanks
