CentOS-WebPanel GUI / Packages won't update on account
« on: May 08, 2023, 03:13:11 PM »
I have three accounts, two packages. While I can assign any package to any account, there seems to be no changes when I do so. No update of disk or bandwidth quota. It's as if no change occur at all, although CWP says the change is successful and displays the correct package.

I have no idea what else to try. That's a pretty basic function, I can't see why it wouldn't be working as intended.

CentOS 7 Problems / Package won't update quota
« on: April 04, 2023, 04:23:02 PM »
So, I tried logging into a CP for a user, the UI complained with the dialog "Quota!"
I went to CWP and found that account to be overlimit for its allocation. I changed the package to a new, unlimited package I created for it. Not only will it not change, but somehow it got dropped to 1kb as its allocation...
It won't update no matter what package I use. As well, I noticed that changing other accounts had no effects either, their previous limits stayed exactly as it was.

Any insights, anyone ?

MySQL / MariaDB crashes after DC incident
« on: April 02, 2023, 01:40:04 PM »
Hello all.
Context: this VPS is hosting 2-3 websites. Has been running smoothly, is being kept updated, a doozy.
48h ago, a DC node incident occurs. Hosting company is advised. Says they are on it. Replies an hour later that "all is fixed".

From that point on, I was unable to access CWP as it would through a bunch of errors after login screen. Had to reset the mysql root password, remove and reinstall MariaDB, did a bunch of swinging in the dark (this really isn't my cup of tea).

At this point it seems that MariaDB will start, then crash, then restart and so on. Associated issues is, I have WP sites working, others throwing "Database connection error" whether mysql is up or not. I can access CWP, although it will randomly crash (likely because mysql has crashed and is restarting). I'm at a loss here, probably at the point where anything I do will compound the problem instead of fixing it. Any insight is appreciated.

Here is the CWP config :
