Install CSF, and configure to catch smtp/pop/sshd brute forces..
And dont forget to limit client sending email per minutes

weird, never have problem like yours..

- try to use other email client
- try to disable amavis and dkim or any other antivirus, content filter etc, just make postfix sent email directly to other host...
- try to rebuild postfix...

Sometime i have problem with files/folder inside public_html too, but ussualy easy to fixed by "fix permision".
If still problem with web, try to rebuild vhost, and see if there is some error. fix it if any, and run "fix permision again"

db-roundcube-user will added after user login using roundcube, if user only using pop3 from email client, then roundcube db for thaht will never created..  cmiiw.

Without rdns, impossible to get so high email score. Another possibility is, every outgoing email routed through another smtp server.

cwp cant do add ptr record for you ip, you need ask you your vps/isp provider to that.
In your case, may be you need help from PT. Beon Intermedia...

I see following the installation of CWP that the firewall is by default off. I don't want to spend hours and hours reading up on this firewall stuff but I would like a basic firewall config that would satisfy a "basic" setup (web/mail/ftp/named I guess, ssh and any other services that need to run).

Does anyone have such a file that I could drop in and enable firewall? CWP is pretty cool but I just don't want to spend weeks and weeks reading up on all this extra stuff. OR, is there CWP guide to firewall setup ?

To enable firewall, only few click at left menu, security-CSf.. but yes, you need to spend lot of time learn how to use advanced firewall security for your need.

FYI.

i was using CWP to provide simple web hosting for a couple of WP websites.
All email/DNS etc was dealt with elsewhere.

in the end i added an SMTP plug in for Worpress that allowed me to set an external SMTP relay for all wordpress email.
this circumvented the local email/smtp service.

Hi, i have same config as yours... i did this
phpmyadmin - postfix - domain
find domain you dont want to recieve email, change "active" from 1 to 0...
You can still open webmail for this domain, but even if you send email for yourseft, email will properly routed to server which mx record pointed.

ps. i hope you understand, as my english is google translated

Look like protonmail is email service, while roundcube just web based email client...cmiiw,   but if cwp team can integrate like what they did with freedns, great!

I installed cwp on smallest DO droplet (SG), need less than an hour. With slighly higher spec at germany vps, need more than one hour...
