CentOS 7 Problems / Apache + Varnish + Nginx . WordPress SSL issues
« on: July 19, 2018, 04:59:49 PM »
Hi Forum
Has anyone tried to use Apache + Varnish + Nginx with WordPress/SSL sites? I am running a default install of CWP7 Pro with a Domain and SSL installed via AutoSSL.
When I enable Apache + Varnish + Nginx, the site goes down complaining "Too Many Redirects". I have not manually configured any redirects, CWP7 handled the HTTP/HTTPS with AutoSSL and in wordpress i adjusted the SiteURL to https://
Has anyone else experienced similar issues?

SSL / Disable Insecure TLS
« on: July 17, 2018, 09:25:26 PM »
How do I disable insecure protocols.
I added the below to /usr/local/apache/conf.d/vhosts-ssl.conf, restarted Apache and PCI scans still show 1.1 as being served. What gives?
SSLProtocol all -SSLv3 -TLSv1 -TLSv1.1

CentOS 6 Problems / Providing Secure, Isolated Shell Access via CWP
« on: December 14, 2016, 03:51:37 PM »
Hi All,
I hope this is the right thread to start this in. I was curious on what the best practice is, via CWP to provide Shell Access to accounts that is isolated to their directory AND Secure.
I have an account I need to run composer on, but I do not want to grant console access to an account and give them free range of the server, and additionally, I don't want them to be able to run anything that would destabilize other sites. How does CWP handle this?
Thoughts?

CentOS 6 Problems / Firewall Is Enabled, however the Icon says OFF.
« on: July 02, 2016, 03:04:11 PM »
Hi
I configured the firewall, tested with changing 0 to 1, worked great. Switched 1 back to 0, and stopped and started Firewall.
The I can do service iptables status and see that IPtables is running and enabled, but the Firewall icon on the dashboard still says OFF.
Not a terribly big deal, however it annoys me. How can I get that icon to says ON

CentOS 6 Problems / Re: Every time I add site, HTTPD goes down and won't restart
« on: July 02, 2016, 03:02:03 PM »
I take that back. I added another SSL host, and the httpd wouldn't start. I had to kill it as described in this thread due to it already listening on 80, after I killed it I was able to start it.

I am using the latest, I just installed CWP about 2 weeks ago.
That said, I just setup a SSL site last night and had no issues.

Just wanted to chime in, this bug is still present. I experience it when I add SSL vhosts. I have resolved it by doing a reboot, but I will try this fix.
I am new to the panel, it's great.. but some of the replies here have me worried... is the project abandoned or actively developed?

CentOS 6 Problems / New Accounts -- Incorrect Disk Usage
« on: June 27, 2016, 05:36:58 AM »
All,
When I create a new account, it is incorrectly seeing the directory as NOT empty and thus it isn't listing the usage correctly.
https://s32.postimg.org/spnhfqxad/disk.jpg
Above: rabenste has the data, and the new account I created, mattr has the same usage.
I notice that when I create new accounts and I get the output below
Check Account Create Details
--> Checking if "/home/ACCOUNT/public_html" folder if exist: [YES]
It is saying the folders exists already, and they don't?
Any ideas on what is wrong?
