Internal server error must be checked in error logs, in most cases this is caused by invalid set of permissions on the file and ownerships as this is not allowed for security reasons in CWP version 0.8+

at the moment there is no catch all option in the CWP but it will be added in newer releases and you can search "google" how to make this with postfix.

public_html location is only for accounts, also there are big differences between CWP versions as at first CWP was installing only packages and now cwp si compiling apache/php from source and on different locations.
