Apache / Re: Unable to write .htaccess in my CWP

Who is the owner of the files and folders? How did you install  WordPress?

I create an account for "exampleuser"

I check via Admin an SSH and the user has permission on the files (home/exampleuser,  home/exampleuser/public_html and so on) , (i even tried CHOWN for that) no luck, also I read you need to give Apache permission, so  i try but never found apache user, or www-data user. So i got lost.

For know i used the manual creation of htaccess, wich works fine, but Permalinks in wordpress is not updating (overwriting or creating) the htaccess file..

I install Wordpress manually, upload wordpress via zip, then unzip, then create Database and user, and then install.

In the PRO versión this works fine?

  I just found that the problem was to select Nginx & Apache as webservers. thanks

Hi in CWP7 i wasnt able to find the section where i can edit all vhosts manually.  In the Left Menu Apache Settings is missing and also ofcourse  Apache Settings –> Edit Apache vHosts

I found WebServer Settings -> WebServers Domain Conf.

in there i found a vhost enable for the account, but i think is not working as im always reaching de Default_page for all domains, not the content on /home/User/public_html

I also try everything in here http://wiki.centos-webpanel.com/default-page-displayed-for-all-domains

With no luck at all, im moving a hole server from Cpanel to CWP7 , i want to buy pro , but first i have to make it work XD jaja.

Wich VHosts i have to edit to make this works? pls help! , Im on Linode.
