Haven't seen any follow-up announcements from the dev team. If your timeframe is tight, I don't think you could go wrong with AlmaLinux 8 and CWP for EL8. You should likely be able to ELevate to AlmaLinux 9 when CWP for EL9 comes out and is stable...

And spammy malware links to top it off...

It won't be in the CSF port section (except it doesn't look as though you are allowing port 25 connections out) -- it looks to be more related to LFD, specifically look for "CUSTOMTRIGGER" You shouldn't be blocking postfix or you will interfere with mail delivery.
But of course, more info is helpful.

E-Mail / Re: setup only email

Look under Email > Email Routing (mx_routing). On the CWP mail server, you need to set the Mail Exchanger to Local. On the CWP web server, you need to change the Mail Exchanger to Remote. Set the DNS appropriately on each server, so it resolves properly.

Glad you got it sorted! Local firewalls can be a gotcha for sure.

Seems as though you could do a remote mailer exchange (MX) and handle this with DNS -- I do this with a couple of domains. You don't need to have a working website and you can certainly have a mail hostname getting AutoSSL, it doesn't need to be a full domain with associated service subdomains (mail.domain.com).

It points to the Login Failure Daemon (LFD) using a custom trigger. Did you put something in place that is accidentally blocking postfix? This seems to be atypical behavior, something I haven't experienced myself...

PHP / Re: CWP falling behind with PHP. Again.

But does much of anything require 8.3? For instance, Drupal requires 8.1, 8.1.6 recommended...

CentOS Configuration / Re: Change Storage Volume for New Users
« on: November 21, 2023, 10:44:50 PM »
I keep incrementally extending the VM's root volume as needed (when it gets to 80%+ full). Keeps full image backups more manageable and you don't have to fuss with tricking CWP with symlinks or mount a separate /home volume into the filesystem. Don't forget /var/vmail is a large consumer of your disk space.

No browser-side ad blocker or tracking script blocker interfering? CSF firewall whitelisted your IP address?

What is the web application you are using that connects to the DB? A PHP script?
You probably need to do some MySQL tuning:

Are you also looking at mail usage under /var/vmail and SQL DB usage? Also, log files are sometimes a space culprit.

CWP's billing team usually has reasonable response times, but 2 days does seem a bit long.

MySQL / Re: An issue with Exporting DB

You're using mysqldump via an SSH session (using user credentials)? As a workaround, can you export as root? Or have you tried phpMyAdmin?

CentOS 7 Problems / Re: Cannot login to user web panel
« on: November 17, 2023, 02:24:06 AM »
There are active users on this forum; I check in daily here to help if I can and gather & glean info. However, it's often the case that not enough info is supplied to begin troubleshooting. I am not experiencing this problem on any of my CWP servers, so I can't immediately replicate it or tell how to solve the error you are encountering. I can go by intuition a bit, but I can't say with any certainty given the limited logs, error messages, and lack of config info.

PHP warnings are not necessarily hard failure points and are often a red herring, distracting from the real cause of the iss. Is there a FastCGI timeout happening due to resource overload? Is there plenty of disk space and memory available?
