Backup / Re: Retention of backup for the last X days
« on: February 23, 2022, 11:23:41 PM »
you could make a workaround on your own till it is maybe implemented.
Just make a cronjob deleting all backups older x days and let it run once a day.

How to / Re: How TO Setup Remote Backup
« on: February 23, 2022, 11:14:50 PM »Is there any difference in using "Backup Configuration" or "NEW Backup (beta)""NEW Backup (beta)" is working better, Right now I'm testing this, I could use this new backup to save on my local server
As i can choose remote backups from the new menu also.
So shouldn't the old Backup be removed from the menu or is there a difference in what will be backed up?
thanks
You can also use it to save your backup to a UNC path, i save my backups to a NAS. I was asking because since about 2 years i am using CWP now this is still called "New Backup" and it is still beta, so for me it is also an old and i wonder why the "old" backup is still in there.
i thought the old one is backing up something more like CWP configs or something else but if they do the same, i don't understand why it is a beta for 2 years now

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Re: Problem with new Shoutcast Manager
« on: February 19, 2022, 01:38:57 PM »
there still seems to be a problem with the admin login of shoutcast.
if i enter the user i set the server up for and the admin password it seems not to work.
so what credentials does it want from me? Are there some default logins or something?

« on: January 07, 2022, 03:07:55 AM »
This update still don't fix the Problems from 1116
It is still not possible to change packages and save.
This means the new functions like streaming can't be enabled.
File and Permission Problem feature also can't be used.

DNS / Re: Setup rDNS on a standalone physical server
« on: December 04, 2021, 01:00:06 PM »
An rDNS record is nothing you can set up in your Domain Zone.
rDNS is on your public IP and MUST be set up from your ISP. This is no record you can simply create like a sub domain.
Call the ISP and tell em you need an rDNS.

CentOS 7 Problems / Re: CWP7 SMTP NOT WORKING
« on: November 22, 2021, 07:06:33 PM »
Your mail clients tries to connect from outside your network which is absolutely correct.
Without opening the Ports on your router, you won't be able to connect to your server from outside.
