CentOS 6 Problems / Service Monitor
« on: May 31, 2017, 07:45:46 PM »
Hi
I recently installed Icinga and set the service to be monitored , I then uninstalled Icinga without remembering to remove the option to monitor service, now I get notified by email every 15 minutes that the service couldn't be started, does anyone where the service monitor stores the monitored services config ?

Postfix / Re: :25: Connection timed out
« on: November 23, 2016, 06:31:43 AM »
yes if port 25 is blocked for outgoing then no mail will leave, you can change the port to one thats open and reload postfix , that may work
$postfix reload (after changes are made)
$postfix reload (after changes are made)

Installation / Re: CWP migration from one VPS to an other.
« on: November 21, 2016, 06:24:24 AM »
unfortunately re installing and restoring backups is the only method iv found to work first time every time , the problem with a "clone" like transfer is that the config will still need to be changed on the new server because there is server specific config that can't just be copied across, unfortunately there isn't a one click backup / restore feature
