when you are installing cwp you need to have centos minimal and in short your installation has nothing when you are installing cwp, so to remove it, you need to remove everything or correct answer is install a new and clean OS.

Apache 2.4 isn't default version for centos 6 and in short, that isn't supported until we don't start to supporting it with centos7.
CentOS moto is "stability over all else" so some custom upgrades will decrease server stability.

you will probably need to have your custom configuration file for varnish in your home folder and also to be included in the varnish.
