Installation / Change php version of the system in new installations
« on: March 12, 2020, 02:15:11 PM »
Hello!
Every time I install CWP on a new server, I have to change the php version of the system from 5.6 to php 7.3.
My suggestion to the CWP team is, that in new installations, you stop using obsolete php versions, as other panels do.
Greetings!

Installation / Re: How can I extend my CWPpro license to 1 year?

Maybe you should contact the CWP billing team. You could also cancel the current one and hire a new one on an annual basis.

This is a function that CWP should add. It is one of the most interesting options of CPanel.

Are you just using Apache? Or Apache & Nginx?
All right, answer a 2016 theme.

Information / Change Log
« on: February 26, 2020, 11:13:23 AM »
https://control-webpanel.com/changelog
I see more up-to-date dates in the change log.
Does this mean we will soon have the updates listed here?
This should be working, we can't be updating after update without knowing what has changed or what bugs have been fixed.
Those of us waiting for bug fixes don't know if what we reported has been fixed.

You say you're a rookie and yet you say these things prevent you from using the "pro" version. Maybe you should think you don't have enough knowledge and choose to pay the CWP guys a support plan.

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Re: We need this option at CWP "URGENTLY" (PART 2)
« on: February 21, 2020, 05:28:56 PM »its super easy via command you can add it to cron too (Don't say you don't know how to do it ):Code: [Select]find /path/backup/ -type d -ctime +5 -exec rm -rf {} \;
+5 is the flag which will delete the directory older than 5 days
10 days = +10
15 days = +15
And why isn't it implemented in the backup system if it's so simple?
You know you can count on us for these improvements, we prefer it at the control panel level. "We're that lazy" hahaha
P.S. Waste 30 minutes of your time implementing that, it's necessary.

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Re: We need this option at CWP "URGENTLY" (PART 2)
« on: February 21, 2020, 05:13:31 PM »you can simply delete the dir for the date you don't want the backup.
Can you explain to me how to do it on servers when they have hundreds of accounts?
This should be a backup system option. I don't understand that answer.
Greetings!

« on: February 21, 2020, 04:56:40 PM »can you elaborate more how the backups are creating in incremental (backup format) ?
I didn't understand the question very well, I'm attaching an image of how they are saving folder after folder indefinitely, since the account was created.

Hello!
I don't quite understand why I've been blocked:
http://forum.centos-webpanel.com/index.php?topic=8338.msg28862;topicseen#msg28862
I was indicating a CWP error and I can't respond.
Following Sandeep's response:
I have it marked as incremental and I don't have that option. Am I doing something wrong?

first of all we didn't delete any user file whether it is 0 bytes. You can try incremental instead of compress.

I just realized that you indicated this too. Ha ha.
I only responded to his comment where they reported what had changed and I didn't notice his, it's the same request.
Well, for the CWP team, we need this urgently.

We have noticed that the backup system is creating infinite copies on the destination server, filling the hard disk until it "explodes" hahaha.
We need an option like this to choose how many days we want to be the maximum. And it's not something that can wait, it's something that has to be done urgently, that is "today for tomorrow" hajajaj
