Aplications / Re: How to install wordpress to linux server
« on: December 29, 2015, 03:51:23 AM »Code: [Select]
Hello, I have the following issue.
I have CentOS VPS, I have installed CWP, I have made a new account, a database, I have downloaded and istalled wordpress with putty, I have renamed and complete the wp-config.php file correctly, I have shared IP, but I still getting apache test page when I broswe to server's IP. Of course I have restart apache.
I'm trying more than 5 hours, searching, experimenting but nothing. Still apache test page.
What could be the problem?
Thank you!
- same here. We can commiserate. Turn that 5 hours into three days for me.
You may want to try fixing permissions in CWP. But I've tried that and it only worked once.

CentOS-WebPanel GUI / Account recognition bug?
« on: December 29, 2015, 02:49:15 AM »
I created a user account for my server through ssh and gave it an SQL database, et al...
When I login to root on the control panel and check user there is nothing displayed. When I go to create a user in the control panel it says that user is already created (but isn't listed when I go to "check user/database")

CentOS-WebPanel GUI / Clicking on phpmyadmin or filemanager downloads a file instead of opening a tab?
« on: December 29, 2015, 02:46:55 AM »
This is new to me. I wanted to add a SQL database and when I went to do that clicking on "phpMyAdmin" downloaded an index.php file to my pic. When I clicked on the file manager I got some other weird file downloaded to my pc.
Thoughts?

CentOS-WebPanel GUI / Cant login - followed the encryption error thread instructions
« on: June 29, 2015, 08:15:03 PM »
I followed the pinned post. I haven't logged in for awhile. I tried today and was met with the encryption error.
http://198.46.148.47:2030/login.php works with root
https://198.46.148.47:2031/login.php it doesn't even load.
I changed password, changed encryption (update) - sha512, started/stopped server, rebooted server
I'm at a loss. I'm a real new guy to this but hopefully someone will clue me in.
