SSL / So how do I *actually* install SSL?

Yes, I read the "1. Install SSL 2. Done" "guide" here but that wasn't really helpful.
Now really, I generated the self-signed cert (which works just fine), but next there is no "Browse installed SSL Certificates" options and the "edit file "/etc/pki/tls/certs/DOMAIN.COM.cert"" means edit how?
I only got .crt files from Comodo so none of them match anything. Also now for some reasong my httpd shows as not running even though it does, so I guess this venture was very succesfull after all.
