How to / How to edit main domain of an account
« on: September 04, 2023, 11:20:52 AM »
In cPanel, one can change the main domain of any account by using the edit function. Easy and simple. in CWPpro, when you Edit Account, there is no way to change the Main Domain. I want just to make an addon domain, pointing to the root directory, to make it main domain, i.e., to replace the current main domain with the name of a parked domain, keeping the path to the root directory unchanged.

DNS / After CWP to CWP Migration
« on: August 21, 2022, 08:42:52 AM »
There are *.db.restore zones of all migrated accounts. Tried to delete them all but (probably) this created bugs in restarting BIND, so I had to reinstall Centos and start all over again.
Is it safe to delete the restore subdirectories in /home and resp. the restore DNS zones after CWP to CWP migration is completed?
Thanks

Information / Re: BUG CWPpro version: 0.9.8.1139 IPV6

Hi, Igor!
Probably a third nameserver with IPv6. But there is no way to add ns3 in the Edit Nameservers IP section. I have modified some config files to allow IPv6, but I cannot add an additional nameserver above the allowed two.

MySQL / Re: Creating new databases & users
« on: October 04, 2018, 12:25:56 PM »
For fresh installed CWP, one should first create some client account with default package and only then the function of creating new db and new user to it works.
This doesn't qualify as bug but certainly is a glitch.

MySQL / Re: User access from specific IP
« on: October 04, 2018, 10:38:19 AM »
Thanks for the heads up. Have also opened port 3306
While trying to install a new program on host yy.yy.yy.yy using the db at xx.xx.xx.xx I get this message:
Database server at xx.xx.xx.xx:3306 using database xxx_name as user xxx_name was not authenticated or could not be connected. Check config.php
my.cnf at xx server is empty
port 3306 is showing some mysqld activity from foreign address
IP is allowed/whitelisted
