there is another problem
they do change file owner to user id
so after each backup you will get double User Quota
so if you got an account with 1 gb package and files were 800mb , after backup user quota will be 1600mb and it will stop uploading and changing or even opening user panel

oh by the way .. if you chose compressed backup .. you will get incremental backup also

after searching for the user files
I discovered that new backup (beta) module is creating a copy of the account inside tmp_bak with user owner

after deleting it .. it came back to normal quotas

I enabled quotas by this instructions

yet some account are showing more space than the original
like I have one account which via du it gives me no more than 5.9 Gb
yet in quotas page ( and user panel ) it shows 11.3Gb
how to fix this ?

in the  /home/XXXX/public_html/ run the following command

mv php.ini php.ini.orig

I mean disable it completely not moving file or renaming it
and I tried to edit user-defined php.ini file name and leave it blank in ( main php.ini ) but did not work
