FTP / FTP keeps logging me out
« on: January 03, 2017, 11:41:32 PM »
I installed your latest version of cwp just a few days ago, and aside from the admin account, I also created a user account. Everything was fine and I used the ftp, then was suddenly invited to install extplorer, which I did.
But extplorer won't log me in and the standard ftp keeps logging me out...i.e. I log in, click on public_html (for example, could be anything) and I get a pop up saying my session has expired, please log in, and when I do log in, I get to the public_html folder. Then when I click index.php or any other file or folder, the same happens again.
How to fix?

Information / Re: there is a way to upload zip file and easily unzip them?
« on: December 30, 2016, 10:40:30 AM »i don't want to use the command line everytime i need to unzip something. it is quite ridiculous that there is almost no filemanagment tool that offer a way to both upload and unzip files. it is possible and natural so why can't i find something like that?
I was also disappointed that there was no unzip function, so I did it via net2ftp's online version. It can be downloaded too, and it would be great if someone could integrate into CWM so that no login would be required. http://www.net2ftp.com/
Net2ftp is used in a lot of open source control panels, and is full featured and free. At one point the creator was integrating web templates too, not sure if they're still included or not.
With file managers, I'm always dismayed with open source panels because the file manager has to be logged in to separately. I know that net2ftp can be adapted in such a way as to avoid logging in, but not sure how to do it. Maybe someone would care to try it?
