more refined search, yielding less results. it may take a few minutes to complete the searcch

Code: [Select]
grep --exclude-dir={boot,dev,media,mnt,proc,run,sys,root,var,postfix,dovecot,lvm} -rnw '/' -e "server1"

there are couple of places to specify the hostname. You may run a meta search for that string in question and see where it pops up and adjust accordingly.

Code: [Select]
grep --exclude-dir={boot,dev,media,mnt,proc,run,sys,root} -rnw '/' -e "server1"

CWPpro and still happening and annoying every time (Déjà vu)

CWPpro and still happening. Since the option is there it should be adhered to and not keep on (re)installing it. Else why bother with the checkbox, just remove it or get it working properly!

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Re: cwp-httpd not recognized by yum as webserver

it just needs minor changes in the rpm specs to fix this

Name:           cwp-httpd

Name:           httpd

and add
Provides:      webserver
Provides:      httpd-mmn = 20120211
Provides:      httpd-mmn = 20120211x8664
Provides:      httpd-mmn = 20120211-x86-64
Provides:      httpd = 2.4.29-2
Provides:      httpd(x86-64) = 2.4.29-2

look at the postfix log, perhaps it can shed some light
Code: [Select]
tail -f /var/log/maillog

perhaps the stock httpd slipped in as dependency of another package since yum does not recognise the cwp-httpd installed by CWP (

see if removing the stock httpd (2.4.6-67) sorts this issue.
Code: [Select]
yum -y remove httpd httpd-tools
systemctl restart cwp-httpd

run from the cli
Code: [Select]
yum list installed | grep httpd and post the output

what version of os and cwp are you running?

did you install/compile the httpd yourselves? Because CWP is installing its own version - cwp-httpd

if you see that CWP test page means that httpd is working, just on port 80 then. For it work on port 443 ssl needs to be enabled and a certificate to be installed

try uninstall mod_security for the moment and see what the result is

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Firewall Survial Mode does not provision for nginx

CWPpro version:

It caters for httpd (and other servers) but not for nginx

see if the logs provide a clue

Code: [Select]
tail -f /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log
