CentOS 7 Problems / Re: Problem with memcached
« on: January 29, 2019, 11:53:10 AM »
1. SSH access your server
2. nano /etc/csf/csf.pignore
3. These are the entries I've added for redis:

exe:/usr/bin/redis-server
4. For memcached look at the warning you got in email and put the executable line with a "exe:" before it.

Tell me if it helped.

That only ignores it, but does not stop it from happening..

The question we are ALL asking, why does it happen in the first place so we can narrow down the cause and stop it.

But none of the staff here can be bothered to help... It's so frustrating.

you are the only one who should know what you have installed on your server and mark then as legit if it was installed by you.

You can whitelist that process in this file, you have examples there also
/etc/csf/csf.pignore

restart lfd after this changes
service lfd restart

That's the same useless replies you always give man...

YOU were the ones that installed the server, NOT US.. so how are we supposed to know... why cant you just answer the question ? Do you know how frustrating it is when you're so vague and useless to support us who paid you?

Installation / Re: Nginx & Varnish & Apache SSL no work
« on: January 29, 2019, 06:33:20 AM »
Same here, I got a notification message to install the php function thingy, and it basically crashed the server, when the server got back up online, i choose the fastest one - the radio button at the bottom -- now i have a 502 bad gateway - i cant login to CWP, or via FTP...

5
same here, been like that since day one...

CWP admins never configured my server properly, now they're giving me attitude asking for more money when they didnt do the job correctly the first time

6
Try temporarily stopping the firewall services that run and connect again. If it let's you in, you need to fix your firewall configurations

Code: [Select]
systemctl stop csf

Code: [Select]
systemctl stop lfd

how can you when one can not login? FTP wont allow me to login either.

cheers

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Re: 502 Bad Gateway - Admin panel
« on: January 29, 2019, 06:25:48 AM »
With latest cwp7, This can happen after suspend user

Cause : cwp-phpfpm failed to start
Temporary solution delete file /usr/local/cwp/php71/etc/php-fpm.d/users/suspendenuser.conf

systemctl start cwp-phpfpm

will bring your wonderfull cwp running again..

How does one access that when one cant load the IP address of the server (other domains load though, just not CWP), and FTP will not let me login either.

thx

FTP / Re: TLS problem

I followed the tutorial here: https://www.howtoforge.com/tutorial/pureftpd-tls-on-centos/ and it worked for me.

You do need to edit the firewall configuration to add 30000:50000 to the TCP port range to prevent the firewall from locking you out:

Go to Security > CSF Firewall and click the button to 'Edit Configuration File'. Find:
Code: [Select]
# Allow incoming TCP ports
TCP_IN = "20,21,22,25,53,80,110,143,443,465,587,993,995,2030,2031,2082,2083,2086,2087,2095,2096"

# Allow outgoing TCP ports
TCP_OUT = "20,21,22,25,53,80,110,113,443,2030,2031,2082,2083,2086,2087,2095,2096,587,993,995"

and add 30000:50000 to to both lines

No, it isn't using the Letsencrypt SSL certificate, but so what ?  You can 'Require explicit FTP over TLS' and the files will transfer securely. The SSL certificate generated by following the tutorial is valid for 20 years, so your server is likely to be obsolete well before the certificate expires.

I do take the point that this is a fundamental requirement for FTP and it would be better if CWP automatically accommodated it, but for the price I've paid ($10 pa for CWP Pro), I'm not complaining. Last time I looked, cPanel was $200 PER YEAR !!

Hi

Is that a : or did you mean a comma? as the others are all commas

The REAL version of CWP may be $200, but these guys are modifying the real owners software, they've already received cease and desist orders which they've ignored.

« on: September 20, 2018, 07:12:08 AM »
You'd think that after paying for the pro verison, you would get some help in understanding in how to login to the myPHPadmin area.

none of the info i have allows me to login to the myphpadmin area.

I've tried my root access, no luck. ive tried the username i created for the database, no luck

anyone here know how to get into this poxy thing since the owners here wont help at all?

thanks

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Re: can't login to phpmyadmin
« on: September 09, 2018, 05:10:31 AM »
I'm having the same issue?

Anyone with the fix please? none of the suggestions here work...

Why cant I just login with the username and password that was made for the account like all cpanel accounts to without a problem?

This centos is doing my head in, nothing but problems and the admins here dont bother to even help and reply on their own stuff.

Could anyone be kind enough to help me figure out how to login to this myphpadmin please?

What I noticed was weird was it was asking me for a different password when creating a MYQSL user.. why does it ask for a seperate password? its never asked me for one before.

A user dbname and password are all that are needed.

if i click to just to create the database, it asks to create a pw.
if i click to just create a username, it asks me to create a pw.
if i click to create a user and a database name, it asks me to create a pw

so why are the processes asking for two different passwords to be made for each when it should be just for one?

Any way, Ive entered all my usernames and passwords to my name that I know of for this domain im trying to setup with a database, but i still cant login to this nonsense...

anyone have a workaround on Centos faulty stuff?

Thanks guys, appreciate it
