« on: March 06, 2017, 07:49:31 PM »
Has anybody else experienced this? Its happening on 1 of 2 servers set-up in past few days. It shows at fast Login, and normal log-in along the top.

Warning: [obfuscated](): php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known in /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/admin/admin/index.php on line 0

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Re: Password Change Failures

Quick Update...

Tech at host tells me the issue is because it is best to not use a dollar sign ($) in a password. He fixed, and all is well once he took the $ of the end of the password(s).

I should have mentioned - the logins to the accounts (websites) also do not work after the change of the root password.

100% lock out.

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Password Change Failures
« on: March 06, 2017, 06:08:57 PM »
Friends, I'm a new user to the CentOS Webpanel as of Saturday.

I have matching problems on two servers. One server is in a European datacenter, the other in the USA. Different hosting companies.

First issue. Created a user accounts (websites) Saturday, had a script installed by a third party. After that, changed password for that account and was locked out. Neither the old or new password would work. Happened on both servers.

Hired a guy more familiar with the panel and he fixed the issue, and sent this message:

  "next time - go to file manager - /home/user-you-need-public_html/ - http://***.***.***.***:2030/admin/fileManager2.php
and change pass in config file - _config.inc.php"

(I replaced IP address in that quote with ***)

OK, fine. After he was in there all was good, but now he had root pass for the servers.

Second problem, Today I go in to the web panel, click "Root" in upper right corner, change the password and all is fine. Hour later, locked out and neither the old or the new password will work.

Hints, tips, something in the process? I need help as a long time CPanel user this is confusing my old self.

Thanks in advance.
